Sunny and hot weekend

Bright sunshine and hot temperatures continue this weekend across North Texas. But at least the temperature will stay below 100 degrees.
Next week will not be quite as hot as the heat dome weakens and shifts northeast. By the end of the week highs will be in the mid 90s. Even better, rain chances will return as we go through the week.
While a few isolated showers may pop up as early as Tuesday or Wednesday, the chance isn’t high enough to include in the forecast, and dry conditions will persist for much of the week. However, a cold front arriving late week into Labor Day weekend could bring some much needed rain back to the area. Stay tuned!
